Matcha swiss roll with azuki beans filling

I made this swiss roll by adapting Lucy's sugar roll recipe. Added 1 tbsp of powdered matcha in the process.

The azuki beans were store-bought but too sweet for my liking. I guess I have to be diligent and cook my azuki beans next time. :P

  2. Your swiss roll looks so good! I have no luck with store bought adzuki beans too, they are just too sweet.

HHB, maybe sugar is the preservative for them or that japanese have really sweet tooth. :P

  4. I bought this brand Morinaga (in a can form), taste sweet to me. Sometimes I bake by impulse, so it is good to have ready-made adzuki bean paste around.
