Bak Kwa Cookies
I had always wondered how bak kwa would taste like in cookies, so I purposely left a piece of bak kwa in the fridge to make some cookies out of it. Next was to search for a cookie recipe that would go well with bak kwa. I happened to be blog-hopping when I came across Florence's recipe. The cranberries in her cookies looked so much like bak kwa! LOL... so I tot, why not substitute those with bak kwa.... so here are the baked cookies....
taste-wise, i think the 1st few cookies took some getting used to. Also because the bak kwa was in the fridge for sometime, it was really dry. So it kinda tasted like bacon, but of a stronger smokey taste to it.

Bak kwa cookies, how creative! I will like these, I actually prefer savoury biscuits than sweet ones :)
