Chocolate chips oats cookies

These cookies have a nice cinnamon taste to it... and also vanilla... so packed full of goodness!

What you need
- 250gm unsalted butter (at room temp)
- 100gm soft brown sugar
- 50gm castor sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 200gm plain flour
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 3 cups oats
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- Preheat oven at 170C. Sift the plain flour, baking powder, ground cinnamon and salt together.
- Cream the butter and sugars together till pale. Add in eggs one at a time. Mix till well incoporated.
- Add in vanilla extract. Mix well.
- While the mixer is running on the lowest speed, add in the flour mixture. Up the speed to medium and make sure the flour mixture is incorporated into the dough.
- Stop mixer, add in the oats and choc chips. Mix on LOW speed.
- Remove bowl from mixer, drop teaspoons of dough onto ungreased cookie pans.
- Bake for 15mins till golden brown.
- Cool completely before storing.
