Food in Taiwan (part 1)

There are so many bakeries in Taipei! People there are simply spoilt for choice. and the designs on the cakes are beautiful too, dun u think so?This is somefin that I like... Pepper biscuits. Pretty spicy, as they really use a liberal amt of pepper in the seasoning... but then since it's called pepper biscuits... oh well.... Was walking towards the MRT stn (Taiper stn) and saw this tibits store... These are really HUGE. it's bigger than the size of my palms!

  • Hi Kwa Kwa,
I stayed at Kilin Hotel, which i won't recommend to anyone.. too old and far away from the mrt stns. Yaha had mentioned Rainbow hotel was good when she was there... it's located in the middle of the Ximenting area. but that means u have to walk in as the coaches won't be able to get into the place. Another place worth looking at is Flower Hotel. Not too bad as it's located very near the taipei train stn, where there's alot of shopping places ard it.

  • Hey Kwa Kwa,

When will u go taiwan? even if the hotel you're gng for is not near food places, u can always take MRT or cabs. The public transport is quite efficient. Just have to prepare for lotsa walking tho'... esp for the nite markets.
