Sugar rolls
Baked these rolls on a Sunday morning as DD requested for it. Actually she wanted DH to buy some from a local bakery, saying that it's been sometime since she last ate some. She asked for the rolls late on Saturday nite, so I tot why not I just bake her some the next morning?
However, we all did not get to eat the sugar rolls until this morning as our Sunday was packed with activities and the roll was kept uncut in the fridge.
Well, the kids did enjoy eating these rolls.... and me too! I'm quite happy with how the rolls turned out this time. There was no crack and it was tightly rolled. Looked and tasted good!Labels: Cakes

Hi Edith,
DD loves the polar's sugar rolls... I gave her this and no complaints from her! LOL... the recipe is from Lucy's blog. Texture's not as fine as polar's but it's good nevertheless.

Can't see the 2nd picture. But from the 1st. picture just like your described, tightly rolled and smooth top! Buying from outside is so expensive, better make our own. :)

Hi Ching, yes, it's always better to have home-baked stuff... but well, when time permits! LOL
Hey Cecily... yups, seems like all kids love sugar rolls.

My family's a huge fan of sugar rolls, but we always buy ours. Yous look soooo good, and store-bought! Beautiful work :)
